How did you get started in the culinary industry?

Being a totally adventurous food lover and blogging about my exploits. Always obsessed, I jumped at the bit to freelance and once I got a few food pieces under my belt at the Weekly Dig, I was hooked.

Tell us about the different jobs you've had over the years.

My first gig: freelancing for the Weekly Dig. That led to freelancing pieces for DailyCandy Boston, The Boston Globe, and Boston Magazine. Then I became the lifestyle editor at _____________, doing restaurant reviews, and editing food, drink and commerce (focus on local businesses) articles. Next, I became Boston Editor and Community Manager for ___________.com. After that, Community Manager for ___________.com.

Describe a typical day in your life.

Make eggs and toast at home. Go to Bloc 11 Cafe and set up shop with my laptop and cellphone. (I work remotely.) Juggle coffee intake with managing social media, producing events, organizing tasklists, cleaning databases,and
