On the weekend of October 4th, 2014, the Taste Trekkers Food & Travel Expo will be returning to Providence, Rhode Island. This is an event designed for anyone who plans their trips around food. Our goal is to turn you on to new cuisines and new regions.

Industry Day

On Friday, October 3rd, we will be hosting "Industry Day" at Johnson and Wales University. This is a special event specifically for professionals in the food and travel industries, including:

  • Chefs
  • Farmers
  • Artisanal Food Producers
  • Tourism Professionals
  • Brewers and Winemakers
  • Writers, Journalists and Bloggers
  • Culinary Students


The afternoon will feature a series of ten minute talks covering different facets of the food and travel industry, followed by a panel discussion hosted by Gail Ciampa, the Food Editor of The Providence Journal. We'll cap the evening off with a special cocktail reception so that you can network with other professional.
