What is a tweetchat?

A tweetchat is a moderated discussion that happens on Twitter at a prearranged time. A "hashtag" (a keyword preceded by the # symbol) is used to link "tweets" (messages posted on Twitter) from different people together in an online conversation.

What is Mystery Meet's tweetchat all about?

Mystery Meet tweetchats are moderated discussions for foodies and food bloggers who love to discover new restaurants. Each month, the discussion revolves around a particular topic (craft beer dinners, pop up restaurants, farm to table, etc.) and features Q&A with special guests. Participants are encouraged to jump in with their own questions and comments by using the hashtag #mysterymeet.

When do Mystery Meet tweetchats happen?

On the first Tuesday of every month at 9pm ET / 6pm PT (beginning in October 2012).

How can I participate in the discussion?

At the designated time, you can "listen in" by searching for any tweets using the hashtag #mysterymeet. If you want to say something, just remember to include the hashtag #mysterymeet in your tweet so other people will see it. We recommend that you use a tool like TweetChat, Hootsuite or Tweetdeck to make it easier to follow the discussion. Watch the tutorial video below.
